• By Car: Cortina is easily accessible by car, located about 2 hours from Venice and 3.5 hours from Milan. The town is situated on the SS51 road, which is well connected to other parts of the Dolomites and northern Italy.
• By Air: The nearest airports are Venice Marco Polo Airport (around 2 hours by car) and Treviso Airport (about 2.5 hours by car). There are also shuttle services from both airports to Cortina.

9. Best Time to Visit

Cortina is a year-round destination, but for the best skiing conditions, it’s recommended to visit between December and March. However, Cortina is also a fantastic summer destination for hiking, mountain biking, and outdoor activities.
