Transport Around Bali

Most tourists to the island arrive via Denpasar-Bali International Airport on Bali's southern tip, which services both domestic and international flights, but tourists can also arrive by ferry from Java or Lombok. Overland, frequent buses run from Java during peak season, and car and motorcycle rentals are numerous as well as local slow-going buses. The best mode of transport when visiting the island is a hired car and driver, which can be easily organised through your hotel or guesthouse.
