La Rosiere Ski Resort Guide
About the Resort
La Rosiere is an attractive traditional style village with chalet athat line the roads that zig zag up from Bourg St Maurice to the Petit St Bernard pass to Italy (closed in winter). It is a quiet and friendly place with few shops and a growing amount of accommodation.
About the Mountains near La Rosiere
There is a fair amoung to explore if you take into account La Thuile. It has good nursery slopes and short lifts near the village, expert skiers will find little to challenge them and there are few off slope diversions.. It has surprisingly good snow reliability despite its south facing direction but its links with Italy are prone to closure because of its high winds and heavy snow.
Après Ski at La Rosiere
The apres ski is a bit limited with a couple of bars in the village, it does, however, have some good self service restaurants.
