About the Resort
This resort is one of the least appealing to look at. It has a collection of high rise buildings which are not the traditional chalet builds most people find attractive in a ski resort although there are some newer chalets that have more appeal located higher up the resort.
About the Mountains near Tignes
You may not come here for the accommodation and aesthetics but the skiing is very good for all levels from begginners who will find that there are enough good nursery slopes, there are plenty of cross country track and the expert will find lots to keep them busy. The area is very good for the intermediate skier who will enjoy the red and blue runs.
Après Ski at Tignes
A healthy choice of both mountain and resort restaurants make this a good place to be if you enjoy food from pizzas to top cuisine. The night life is a little quiet but there is a good choice of bars with some offering food.
