About the Resort
This is a purpose built resort that offers driving distance to all the main ski areas of the Tarentaise. It is a lively resort with a traffic free main street which is the location for most of the shops and restaurants. The main accommodation in this family friendly resort is slope side.
About the Mountains near Valmorel
The area is a good all rounder with slopes to suit all abilities although the expert may not find enough to keep them totaly amused. The lower altitude means the snow is not always guaranteed but there is snow making on the main runs back to base.
Après Ski at Valmorel
A fair amount goes on to keep the majority of skiers happy although the party animals may feel a bit restricted.
