About the Resort
This resort is one of the more traditional Swiss ski resorts with old chalets and an almost traffic free centre. The village has an efficient bus service that reaches the outlying areas. Small in size the village has mostly 3 and 4 star hotels and around 25 or so pensions.
About the Mountains near Adelboden
The slopes are split into five sectors reached either by bus piste or lift they stretch across the mountain and into the next valley. Snow reliability is not too good although there is some snow making. Most pistes are below 6560 ft. The slopes are impressive and the intermediate will enjoy the pretty scenery. There are also some good blacks and off piste routes. Beginners will enjoy the nursery slopes in the village and at nearby sectors.
Après Ski at Adelboden
The apres ski is fairly low key and based around bars and tea rooms. There are some pleasant mountain restaurants.
