About the Resort

This area is well known during the summer months due to its proximity to the nearby national parks. It is only a short distance from the airport. The snow sure resort is surrounded by mountain ranges in an unspoilt, remote location that expert skiers, in particular, appreciate. The accommodation is mostly luxurious but there are low budget options in a town that still dines out on its Wild West image.

About the Mountains near Jackson Hole

With an average snow fall of over 400 inches in a year, the slopes do not dissapoint. Experts are well catered for with plenty of challenging pistes and exciting slopes including one of the USA's biggest verticals at over 4,000 feet. intermediates might struggle to find too much to do without being brave enough to venture on to black runs and all that entails by way of guides. Not a great place for the beginner to progress from the nursery slope to beyond. A real expert skiers paradise.
