About the Resort

This is a resort that has grown up around the day tripper and weekenders that flock in from places like New York and east coast cities. The main critisism would be that it lacks a main village focus and the hotel and restaurants are widely spread giving it a sprawling, slightly unfriendly feel.

The resort claims to be the holder of various 'biggests'. The biggest mountain - the biggest number of quad chairs - biggest snow making facilities. It boasts an early start to the season and often opens in October but is prone to closures almost straight away.
